Undated , circa 1893 from inscription. Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to front and spine. Boards are a little worn, especially around the edges. Corners are bumped and worn. Spine is badly faded and shows a large water stain. Top and bottom of spine are bumped and worn. Page edges are rather grubby. Endpages show green floral pattern and are darkened around the edges. Front inner hinge is cracked but holding. Rear inner hinge is cracked but holding. Frontispiece shows black and white drawing of 'Sir Eustace Presented with The King's Chaplet' and is a little foxed. 511 pp. Tissue paper protection for frontispiece is intact. Black and white illustrations throughout. Pages are generally clean, with the odd mark. Foxing, mainly to early and late pages. Previous owner's mark. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 673g. (YBP Ref: 021471:1-M6)
