Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby, showing some water staining to front. Corners bumped and worn. Slight wear to board edges. Spine is faded with bumping and wear to top and bottom. Page edges are rather grubby and show foxing. Textblock is just starting to give. B/w photographic frontispiece entitled 'The poet on the bridge of the Puglia'. Text block is foxed towards front and back. 288 pp + adverts. 16 b/w photographic plates.
