To which is added an account of her being fallen in with by an American Whaler after her abandonment in Barrow Straits, and of her presentation to Queen Victoria by the Government of the United States.  Recent navy half leather morocco boards with gilt lettering to spine.  Marbled paper covered boards, lower edges rubbed.  Spine is decorated with gilt and has five raised bands, slight fade.  New end papers.  Eight colour lithograph plates (as listed).  There is no folding map and no mention of one in the index.  Spotting throughout and minor marginal damp stains to the spine edge.
