Undated. Set of four volumes by Emil Ludwig, bound in marbled leather. All published between 1929 and 1931, text in French. All volumes are rubbed around edges, and creased at joints with spine. Pages are clean but not particularly bright. Three volumes have red spine labels and gilt lettering, but volume on Machiavel has a blue label with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrations. All four volumes have a decorative title page ahead of the real title age. These have darkened quicker than other pages, and have some small stains.
