Undated. 3 volume with blue buckram covers. All volumes are darkened at spine and mildly bumped at top and bottom of spines. Corners bumped too. Volumes 1 and 2 have a few minor stains. Volume 1: inner hinge cracking. Ffep chipped at edge. 7 colour plates. A further plate has been removed, directly prior to title page. Pages mostly clean, occasional marks. Text block broken between pages 56 and 57. pages 163-166 are detached at the bottom. Minor foxing to the plates. Contains various black and white illustrations. Volume 2: contains 7 colour plates. One further plate has been removed. Text block splitting in the middle of the plates. Pages have some grubby marks. Text block very loose. Volume 3: inner hinges are cracked. Contains 7 colour plates. A further plate has been removed. Protective tissue on one plate is torn. Foxing to some of the plates. Occasional grubby marks on the pages. Binding quite loose.
