Modern brown leather binding with gilt text on red background spine label, with decoration to spine and raised bands. Front and rear boards are lightly rubbed  with minor marks. Some slight wear to bottom edge. Lovely marbled end papers, with strengthened inner hinge as part of the binding process. Map to page 488 is damaged with loss, plate to page 459 has small loss to centre, plate to page 369 has loss to extreme margin there are a few pages with small tears to them, several pages and several plates have some minor water stains. Pages browned with age, are grubby and have foxing to them, all commensurate with age (1835).  When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 2554g.  (YBP Ref: 017042:1-G4)
