Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Corners and edges are worn and bumped. Cloth fraying. Small stain. Spine darkened. Top and bottom of spine bumped. Inner hinges cracked. FFEP has previous owner's markings. Pages are loose, grubby and foxed. Back (final) page is torn & loose. Library binding. Reverse of half-title page lists 26 further titles (8 Novels (last 2 listed are A Trembling of a Leaf, and On a Chinese Screen) and 18 Plays). Author's note after title page. Title page is not cancelled, Half title present. Hong-Kong mentioned on pages 34 and 56. Rear of title states: First published 1925. No cancel leaves inserted. Front inner hinge is cracked but holding. Rear inner hinge is just starting to give. Textblock has one or two grubby marks, pp79 - 82 are loose but present. 337 pp. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 381g. (YBP Ref: 018398:1-G4)
