Brown tan coloured full leather hard back with gilt lettering to the front (Miss. J. Hyndman.) and spine. Six gilt bands to the spine. Red spine label contains the gilt lettering. Pencil scribbling to the rear blank pages and pen to the FEP and FFEP. Previous owner's inscription to a rear page. Internally pages are in good condition although a few pages showing signs of foxing. Black and white illustration to the half title page, which has been ghosted onto the reverse of the first blank page. Page ends darkened with age. Overall a good volume . This book has been professionally restored , spine has been re-laid with leather re-back and leather chips have been repaired and restored on rear board.
