Undated, c1872 from preface. Dark green buckram boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are stained. Corners worn and mildly bumped. Top and bottom of spine bumped. Does not appear to be original binding. End pages darkened. No half-title page. Pages often stained and grubby. Frontispiece present but detached, and chipped at edges. Contains 23 tinted lithographs and 5 pedigrees, though 2 of these are torn. Binding loose. Rear inner hinge cracked but holding. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 729g.
