Green/grey cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and green paper label to front board. Corners are bumped, as are top and bottom of spine. Spine has three horizontal splits at the top. Boards are worn and spine stained. Boards have suffered water damage, but internally unaffected. Half of FFEP missing. Title page has previous owner's stamps along the top. Some grubby marks throughout the text. Binding cracking between pages 6 and 7, also cracking between the last two advertisements at the rear. Contains black and white illustrations. Undated, but 1865. 196 pp + adverts. 52 plates. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 441g. (YBP Ref: 021132:1-B1)
