Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to front and spine. Boards are faded, with extensive wear and staining. Corners bumped and worn. Wear to board edges and especially along the spine edges where the cloth is splitting. Spine is discoloured with bumping and wear to top and bottom. Top left corner of spine is worn away. Page edges are rather grubby. Top edge gilt. Endpages are slightly discoloured, with biro pen mark to FEP. Front inner hinge is cracked but holding. Rear inner hinge is starting to crack. Textblock is cracked, some pages loosened. Colourful frontispiece with tissue protection intact. Frontispiece is present but detached. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is mostly clean. 181 pp + adverts. All coloured illustrations, sketches and maps are present. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 1002g.(YBP Ref: 022101:1-M11)
