Undated. Beige cloth boards with orange lettering to front and spine. Boards are generally in good order, just a little grubby. Corners bumped and worn. Slight wear to board edges. Spine is age darkened with bumping to top and bottom. Page edges are slightly grubby. Just a hint of foxing to the endpages. Front inner hinge is cracked but holding. Textblock is starting to crack. Colourful frontispiece, a little grubby. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. 142 pp. 24 colour plates. 1 plate, 'Ride a Cock-Horse to Banbury Cross', is missing. 'Little Bo-Beep has Lost her Sheep' plate is torn, but no loss. Plates are otherwise in a good condition. Bottom corner of page 69 is missing.
