c.1650. 103 leaves, collated. A particularly good copy, very rare. L.V.G. paper, bound in the Cambridge style of the 1650s and possibly rebound using its original boards and marble end pages during the 1770s. Brown leather boards with no lettering to front or spine. Boards are generally in good order, just a little shelfwear. Corners bumped and worn. Wear to board edges and especially along the spine edges where the cloth is splitting. Spine has bumping to ends, with some wear. Gilt decoration to the inside of the board edges. Spine has raised bands. All edges gilt. Marbled endpages. Front inner hinge is just starting to give. Rear inner hinge is just starting to give. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 1059g. (YBP Ref: 025464:1-B3)
