Brown faced boards with red lettering to front. Boards are generally in good order, just a little grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Cloth spine has bumping to both ends. Previous owner's inscription to FEP. Front inner hinge is cracked but holding. Text in French. Illustrated throughout. The presentation page at the front has not been filled in. It reads 'Occupation Des Frontieres 1914-1915 Le soussigne certifie que .......... A pris part au service actif pour l'occupation des frontieres'.
