Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Gilt decoration to front board. Top edge gilt. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is faded with bumping to ends. The page edges are rough cut. Some pages remain uncut. Age discolouration to endpages. Both inner hinges have failed; frontispiece has become detached. The binding is loose. Would benefit from a rebind. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. 371 pp. Additional photos are available upon request.
