Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is faded with bumping to end. Front inner hinge is cracked; some attempt has been made to glue it which has resulted in the title page and two contents page being torn and puckered. Tiny burn hole to title page scorched through two further pages. Textblock is rather grubby. Some foxing. 558 pp. Bookplate to fep. Additional photos are available upon request.
