Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Gilt emblem to front board. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Page corners are a bit pink where the dye from the boards has leached. Top corner of fep has been removed. Both inner hinges are beginning to crack. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection intact. Textblock is well held, but has a few grubby marks associated with use. 327 pp + adverts. Previous owner's mark to early blank.
