Brown half leather boards with faded gilt lettering to spine. Boards are rubbed and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is torn to the top, the gilting has all gone and there is damage to both ends. New endpapers. Both inner hinges are cracked, some pages are detached. The binding is loose; the bundles are separating. Starts with title page. Textblock is rather grubby. 464 pp + index + 4 pp adverts. Final advert page has been taped.
