Scarce. Black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Boards are generally in good order, just a little grubby. Some slight bumping to corners. Spine is creased with mild bumping to ends. Foxing to the page edges. Age discolouration to endpages. Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding. Colour frontispiece with tissue protection intact. One or two pages have a small red stain to the very top. Foxing to the endpages and much less so to the textblock. 319 pp + adverts. Bookplate to fep. With 16 plates, 4 of them in colour.
