Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Gilt emblem to front board. Boards are generally in good order, just a little shelfwear. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with damage to ends. Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection; rather foxed. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. Textblock is foxed to the early/late pages. 431 pp. Previous owner's mark to fep. Additional photos are available upon request.
