Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Gilt emblem to front board. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Rebacked spine with original relaid. Both inner hinges have been repaired. Textblock is in good condition, clean and tight but with a touch of fox as far as the title page. This copy belonged to J Johnston Abraham, signed by him whilst at Trinity College Dublin. It also bears his bookplate. 596 pp. Additional photos are available upon request.
