Wings and Stings: A Tale for the Young

This one definitely needs the attentions of a good book binder to fulfill its potential! Green decorated cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Both inner hinges have failed leaving the boards detached from the textblock. First bundle is detached (coloured frontispiece) likewise final page. The binding is very loose. Textblock is rather grubby. 159 pp. Charlotte Maria Tucker wrote under the pseudonym A.L.O.E (A Lady of England). Additional photos are available upon request.
