Dated 1941, but lists Grasses, Sedges and Rushes which did not come out until 1942, and also makes mention of Dogs coming soon so more likely between 1942 and 1945. Green cloth boards with blue lettering to spine and front. Boards are generally in good order, just a little faded around the edges. Slight bumping to corners. Spine is unevenly faded with bumping to ends. Mild foxing to the page edges. Rear inner hinge is just starting to crack. Textblock is cracked but holding. Textblock is in good condition, clean and tight. 153 pp. White paper dust jacket with green lettering to spine and front. Dj edges are creased with numerous small nicks, particularly around the spine area where this some small loss. Closed tear to base of spine. Inner flaps are creased. Rather grubby.
