Not listed are 'Notes on the Ciliation of the Ectoderm of the Amphibian Embryo' and 'The Segmentation of the Ovum of the Sheep, with Observations of the Hypothesis of the Hypoblastic Origin for the Trophoblast'. Brown/marbled quarter cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine titled simply 'Embryological Papers'. Boards are rubbed but otherwise in good order. Slight bumping to corners. Spine has bumping to ends. Some foxing to endpages. Textblock is in good condition, clean and tight. Previous owner's bookplate to fep. Previous owner's mark to title page.
