Undated, 1881-1883. Three volumes, similarly bound. Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends; cloth quite tattered and split. Volume One: Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding. Textblock is cracked right through (could use a rebind). Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally not too bad. 384 pp + adverts. Volume Two: Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding.
