Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened; the cloth has split along both edges and there are two vertical creases. Previous owner's name to lower page edges. Front inner hinge has been badly repaired with a piece of white paper. Rear inner hinge is cracked, but holding. Textblock is rather grubby with a slight musty smell. 568 pp + adverts.
