Brown quarter cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Library binding. Boards are rather worn but still serviceable. Corners and edges are worn exposing the board beneath. Spine has bumping to ends with references in white ink and taped sticker. This copy was presented by the author to the Mayor and Corporation of Bridgwater. Ffep is torn and creased. Rfep is creased. Frontis and other plates taken from photographs. Textblock is rather grubby. Foxed. 643 pp. Contains the usual marks of an ex-library copy. Additional photos are available upon request.
