A History of English Cathedral Music 1549-1889: Volume Two

Undated, circa 1908. Volume Two only (Chapters IX- XII, p269-580). Blue decorated cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and white lettering to front. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped. Edgewear, especially along the spine edges where the cloth has split. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Foxing to the page edges. The page edges are rough cut. Both inner hinges are cracked, but holding. The binding is loose; the bundles are separating. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection. Textblock is foxed, especially to the early/late pages.
