Contains a brief reference to Bristolian George Pocock and his 'kite carriage'. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and blindstamped lettering to front. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Mild foxing to the page edges. Age discolouration to endpages. Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding. B/w frontispiece. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. 521 pp + adverts. Previous owner's mark to ffep.
