Green decorated cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and black lettering to front. All edges gilt. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends causing the cloth to fray. Age discolouration and a bit of fox to endpages. Front inner hinge is cracked. Bottom of title page loosened. The binding is loose. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection. Textblock is generally clean but with occasional mild foxing. 398 pp + adverts. Additional photos are available upon request.
