Undated, c1889. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. All edges gilt. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped. Edgewear, especially along the spine edges where the cloth is splitting. Spine is faded and stained with bumping to ends. Endpages are grubby. The binding is loose; the bundles are separating. Text block is tanned with light fox intermittently throughout the volume. Monochrome plates and illustrations throughout. Additional photos are available upon request. Text in French.
