Black cloth spine and yellow paper covered boards with black lettering to front. Boards are marked and generally grubby; paper nicked and lifting to top corner. Slight bumping to corners. Spine has bumping to ends. Front endpapers have a bookplate and signature of a previous owner. This owner was Herbert McLean Evans (amongst many other things the discoverer of vitamin E).
