Encyclopaedia Britannica: HYD-ICE

Undated, c1892 from inscription. This is part of the Encyclopaedia Britanica, 9th Edition. Hydromechanics seems to have been the section that the owner was interested in as the other pages are largely uncut. Does, however, contain a nice coloured map of Iceland. Inside is written 'The cover has been wrapped in the fabric for covering wings etc of the aircraft of the time.' It has been hand lettered 'Hydraulics' and inscribed with a previous owner's name, dated 1921. Age discolouration to endpapers. Small amount of fox. Binding is very loose, the bundles have separated.
