Red decorated leather boards with gilt lettering to spine. All edges gilt and gilt decoration to board edges. Also five raised bands to spine and a ribbon page marker. Boards are markedbut otherwise in pretty good order. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Leather has ghosted to the very edge of the endpapers. Front inner hinge is beginning to crack. Just the odd spot of foxing to the endpages and occasionally to the textblock mainly affecting the early/late pages. 528 pp. Previous owner's mark to early blank.
