Cream card covers with green and black lettering to spine and front. Covers are generally in good order. Very slight bumping to corners, some subsequent curling. Spine is intact and bright with just a little mild bumping to ends. Inscription from the author to Kenn Back (1942-, Meteorologist for the British Antarctic Survey and descendant of the Arctic explorer Captain George Back.) and a letter to him from the author. Textblock is tight, bright and clean. Previous owner's bookplate. 162 pp. Covers have been cased within a removable plastic film, stuck only to itself, not to the book covers.
