The Fall of the Monarchy of Charles I 1637-1649

Two volumes bound in brown cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Volume One: 1937-1640. Boards are rubbed but otherwise in good order. Corners are bumped. Edgewear, especially along the spine edges where the cloth is splitting. Spine has a small water stain, is creased, has bumping to both ends, and nicks to the cloth. Both inner hinges are cracked. Final few pages of the advert section has a marginal waterstain. 445 pp + 24 pp of adverts. Previous owner's mark to title page. Volume Two: 1640-1642. Boards are rubbed but otherwise in good order. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine has bumping to ends and a small pucker. Both inner hinges are cracked. Pull-out map as frontispeice. 508 pp. Previous owner's mark to title page.
