Cream paper covers with black lettering to spine and front. Very light weight paper covers; a little age darkened to rear. Spine has a small tear. The page edges are rough cut. Covers have been cased within a removable plastic film, stuck only to itself, not to the book covers. Text block is tanned, but generally clean. Bookplate from Kenn Back (1942-, Meteorologist for the British Antarctic Survey and descendant of the Arctic explorer Captain George Back) 202 pp. Held in a purpose made slipcase.
