Bookplate of Kenn Back (1942-, Meteorologist for the British Antarctic Survey and descendant of the Arctic explorer Captain George Back). The original invoice is tucked to the rear along with correspondence between the author and Kenn Back. White glazed card boards with black lettering to spine and front. Boards are generally in good order, just a little shelfwear. Now covered in a removable plastic sleeve, stuck only to itself, not to the book. Slight bumping to corners, some subsequent curling. Spine is intact with just a little bumping to ends. Textblock is tight, bright and clean. 314 pp. Additional photos are available upon request.
