Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are generally in good order. Slight bumping to corners. Rebacked with original spine relaid. DD number to top of spine. Some pages remain uncut so hasn't been intensively studied! Recent endpapers. Ink spots to margin of p100-101. 1 stamp from Royal London Ophthalmic Hospital to title page. Textblock is pretty good, considering its age, but inevitably has a few grubby marks associated with use. 112 pp. Inscribed 'Presented by the author' but not signed. 2 tissue guarded plates, 11 text figures.
