Part of the Rulers of India Series. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Slight foxing to the page edges. Rough cut page edges. Fox to endpages, exacerbated by India related newspaper cuttings pasted to both front and rear endpapers. Fold out map to front with slight closed tear. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection. Textblock is in good condition, clean and tight. 208 pp + appendix. Bookplate to fep. Additional photos are available upon request. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 465g.
