Brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Gilt detail to front and back boards. Boards are generally in good order, just the expected shelfwear. Corners are bumped. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Page edges are rather grubby. Rough cut page edges. Somewhat cocked. Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding. The binding is loose; the bundles are separating. Infrequent annotations to the textblock in pencil. Some foxing. Previous owner's mark to title page.
