Small paper copy. Red half leather boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby and worn. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine has gilt decoration and five raised bands. It is a little faded with bumping to the ends. Both inner hinges are cracked, but holding. Two small newspaper cuttings stuck to late blank. Some foxing. Marks from various previous owners. Pagination: xv, 9 plates, fold out map,349 pp. Additional photos are available upon request.
