Green decorated cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped. Edgewear, especially along the spine edges where the cloth is splitting. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Amateur repair to reglue the spine cloth. Amateur repair to front joint. Rear joint remains broken. Fold out extract from journal has a small closed tear which has been taped to the rear. Previous owner's mark. Pagination: xi, 321 pp. Additional photos are available upon request.
