3 volumes, Mammalia (1861) vii, 796 pp, closed tear to one page - Birds (1862) 781 pp, closed tear to one page and a number of pages are rather tatty around the edges. They would have stuck out proud before the spines were repaired - Reptiles, Fishes, Molluscs (1863) 810 pp, two pages have been repaired. All volumes have leather rebacks with original spines laid on. Original endpapers retained. Original receipt for the spine work dated 1998 tucked within. All volumes have slight fox.
