Fine vellum boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Top edge gilt. Gilt decoration to the front board. Boards are generally in good order, just a little grubby. Some slight bumping to corners. Spine is a little stained, has a small tear to the top and a little mild bumping. Rough cut page edges. Colour frontispiece with tissue protection intact. Long closed teat to p263. Some foxing. 37 plates, 12 of them coloured with tissue guards, as called for. Previous owner's mark to early blank. Additional photos are available upon request.
