This is the May 1901 2nd impression, the 1st was Feb 1901. Orange cloth boards with black lettering to spine and front. Boards are marked commensurate with age. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is faded with bumping to ends. Foxing to the page edges. Rough cut page edges. Somewhat cocked. Age discolouration to endpages. The binding is loose; the bundles are separating. B/w frontispiece with tissue guard. Just the odd spot of foxing here and there internally. 248 pp + 32 pp adverts + index of authors. The 1 folding map is present. Previous owner's mark to fep.
