Undated, c1880. No edition stated, likely first edition. Blue half leather and red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Sectioned spine, raised bands, leather title labels. Boards are rubbed, especially to the edges and corners. Corner leather has peeled, a little. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Marbled endpages. Frontispiece. Textblock is cracked but holding. Somewhat grubby internally. Blind library stamp to title and the odd other pencil library marks. No external library marks. Previous owner's bookplate (Alf'd J Speller) to front and rear endpapers. Additional photos are available upon request. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 652g.
