Fine binding. Brown leather boards with gilt lettering to spine. Top edge gilt. Boards are marked commensurate with age. Gilt decoration and emblem. Slight bumping to corners. Spine is faded with bumping to ends; decorations and 5 raised bands. Some fox to endpages. Textblock is in good condition, clean and tight. 464 pp. Previous owner's bookplate showing that this was the Highgate School Prize in 1930. Additional photos are available upon request.
