Uncommon. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Top edges gilt, and emblem to front board. Rough cut pages, some pages remain uncut. Heavy staining to boards with signs of damp. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. Age discolouration to endpages. Front inner hinge is cracked, but holding. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection. Large dark water stains to corners to several pages throughout. Some foxing. Previous owner's mark to ffep. Map, 18 illustrations and pedigree. Additional photos are available upon request.
