Uncommon. Contemporary blue calf boards with gilt lettering to spine. Middle Class School Corporation Prize 1872 to front; a little rubbed. Corners are slightly bumped, edges slightly worn. Highly decorated spine is a little faded, 5 raised bands. 3 wood engraved plates. Light spotting to endpapers. FFEP has prize inscription dated 1872, pencil note 'presented by HRH Princess Louise, Marchioness of Lorne', and one additional later small inscription.
